The pads are made from strips of knitted wire or synthetic thread, carefully wound to the required diameter. The width of the strip corresponds directly to the height of the pad, guaranteeing optimum precision in the final dimensions.
These buffers are particularly well-suited to small installations requiring reduced cross-sections, while allowing the integration of a single-piece cylindrical element.
.
Their design makes them easy to access and install, even in confined environments.
Designed in the form of knitted fabric windings working on edge, these pads ensure effective filtration or separation while maximizing the volumetric surface area of contact. This feature enables them to achieve performance equivalent to, or even superior to, other types of equipment (such as defrosting mats), while requiring less space.
Ideal for a wide range of industrial applications, the buffers guarantee optimum efficiency thanks to their unique structure, which combines compactness and robustness.

« ROLLED-UP » TYPES
These types are designed for small installations requiring small cross-sections and capable of accommodating a single-piece, easily accessible cylindrical element. Presented in the form of a fabric winding working on the edge, they require a higher surface volume than other types to achieve the same efficiency and output.

Pads support GRIDS
A pad support grid is available in a range of formats, adapted to the external diameter of the pad.
The diameter of the grid is set back 40 mm from the diameter of the plug.
- Crosshead for diameters under 300 mm
- Type n° 0 for diameters 300 to 400 mm
- Type n°1 for diameters from 500 to 650 mm
- Type n°2 for diameters from 660 to 850 mm
Detailed technical information can be found in our technical documentation.
advantages of GRIDS
The support grids on the demister pads play an essential role in their efficiency and longevity. Here are their main functions:
- Structural maintenance : Support grids help maintain the shape and integrity of the pad, especially when subjected to high-pressure gas or liquid flows. They prevent the pad from deforming or compressing, which would otherwise guarantee continuous, homogeneous filtration.
- Uniform flow distribution : By holding the pad in place, the grids ensure uniform flow distribution across the entire pad surface. This optimizes gas/liquid separation efficiency by ensuring that the entire pad participates in the filtration process.
- Preventing settling : Without proper support, the pad’s knitted material can settle over time, reducing its porosity and efficiency. Grids help prevent this by providing stable support for the pad.
- Ease of installation and maintenance : Support grids make it easy to install stripper pads in filtration systems. They also facilitate removal for maintenance or replacement.
- Extended service life : By providing structural support, they protect the buffer against premature wear due to mechanical stress or flux erosion, extending its service life and reducing maintenance costs.
